Jacqueline von Zwehl, MBA - CEO

Ms. von Zwehl is a Founding Member and Chief Executive Officer of E-Renewables, LLC, a leading renewable energy development & finance company. Ms. von Zwehl's career spans over 10 years in IBM as an Executive in global project management, product development, sales, finance, marketing, and operations roles. She has led world wide teams to develop industry solutions in IBM's Software group, including the product development of WebSphere Business Integration with over 10 different industry modules. These modules increased IBM's market dominance as a world leader of industry solutions, with critical press and analyst acclaim. Ms. von Zwehl became a subject matter expert in technology industry solutions and was a dominate presence and key note speaker at leading industry conferences and trade shows. Ms. von Zwehl has spent the last several years of her IBM career as a World Wide Sales Executive, managing a team of people around the globe, meeting with hundreds of customers and business partners to meet hundreds of millions of dollars in annual sales targets, while successfully managing a multi million dollar budget and stringent ROI targets. Throughout her career, Ms. von Zwehl has consulted technology clients all over the world in over 25 different countries. Ms. von Zwehl received her undergraduate degree from New York University and her MBA from Pennsylvania State University. She is also very proud to serve her country as an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary under U.S. Homeland Security.

Christopher von Zwehl - President, MA

Christopher von Zwehl is a Founding Member and President of E-Renewables, LLC (E-R), a leading renewable energy development & finance concern. Mr. von Zwehl has over 25 years of successful management, sales & marketing, finance and product development experience building new entities through team work and consensus building. Most of his career has centered on products and companies that challenged industry and government to do more with less while exceeding needs and helping the environment. Von Zwehl spent a good part of his career at global family concern Varn International, turning around entire products lines to meet the new stringent requirements of the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts while additionally serving as Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Chemical Council for the MEMA or Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association. During his tenure at Varn, the company received numerous awards and citations for their stewardship in creating environmental friendly products in the automotive and graphic arts industries that met or exceeded industry and/ or government standards. Von Zwehl also helped push his family's businesses sales to almost $100 million with 10 operating facilities doing business in 85 countries. Von Zwehl was then called upon by past EPA Administrator Governor Christine Todd Whitman to serve three years in one of the most visible roles in New Jersey's history. Commissioner von Zwehl's actions with others lead to President Clinton signing legislation turning over our nations' most decorated warship, USS New Jersey to her namesake state as a museum and memorial. Von Zwehl subsequently served as Project Leader and Board Member of Empire Waterlink, in under an hour time-definite expedited passenger and cargo ferry service to JFK in conjunction with the Port Authority of NY & NJ only to see the company to become a direct casualty of the events of September 11. Since, von Zwehl has concentrated his focus and efforts back to his roots, on the production of advanced biofuels and built the company Empire State Ethanol & Energy, who has been working for over 3 years to build several biofuels plants in upstate New York. Mr. von Zwehl has an undergraduate and master's degree, sits on the board of the Environmental Business Association of New York State, is active with several renewable fuels and energy associations including the REFIN or Renewable Energy Finance Network of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE). E-R additionally has partnerships with SUNY Stony Brook's Advanced Renewable Energy Technology Center, Brookhaven National Labs and the National Science Foundation, NYSERDA, EPA and DOE amongst others. He also presents lectures on renewable energy finance and development. Chris serves as Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and has attended Officers Training School at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He has received numerous ribbons and citations for his exemplary service to his Nation.

Glen Schunk - Associate

Glen Schunk is an associate at E-Renewables. Glen received his Bachelors degree in economics at Stony Brook University, and is now earning his MBA with a concentration in finance at Stony Brook University as well. In the past two years, Glen has done market research for the East End Tourism Alliance as well as sales for Cutco Cutlery. Throughout his studies at Stony Brook University, Glen has done research papers and cost-benefit analyses of multiple renewable energy products.
