Long Island Green Accelerator (LIGA) Project Services
Managed in association with SBU and NYSERDA, E-Renewables is developing project services. Every day, new technologies and innovations are being developed at universities, private laboratories, research centers, and corporations throughout the world. Too often promising new technologies languish on a shelf, lacking the necessary resources to move beyond the lab. E-R will provide the University the management and tools necessary to ensure long-term success of the AERTC and the commercialization of technologies derived from its activities.
The benefits of technology/ financial/ intellectual cultivation E-R proposes are dramatic and long lasting - and can make the difference between commercial success and failure. They include:
- Tracking major research initiatives from universities and corporate labs.
- Enabling faster, more reliable, more cost-effective proof-of-concept studies.
- Applying an end-to-end approach to innovation development.
- Offering convenient, co-located infrastructure and services.
- Providing investment capital.
- Establishing resources to lead and manage enterprises directly.
- Moving enterprises through to investment grade stage.
- Acquiring government resources to reduce risk/ increase reward.
From discovery and proof of concept, through product development, prototype development, funding, clinical trials, and technology transfer, E-R's portfolio of business development pipeline services were developed to meet the needs of companies with a commercially viable technology.
